From - www.CodeProjet.com website: The huge news today is that Microsoft has potentially pulled a rabbit out of its hat with the unveiling of Windows Phone 7. The iPhone has completely changed our expectations of what a smart phone should be and Microsoft's current Mobile 6.5 has left most seriously underwhelmed. With this new platform from Microsoft we could see Microsoft finally giving Apple some serious competition.
It's worth noting that while the iPhone has been a huge success and Windows Mobile a huge yawn, Microsoft is still third (18%) to Apple's second (25%) in smart phone sales in the United States, so I'm sure we'll be seeing big things from Apple this year too. Unless the iPad was it...
If Microsoft Phone 7 works as well in real as the demos promise, and if they can make the battery last as well as the current-sipping, best-selling Blackberries, then I'm looking forward to its release.
