Since switching my media center (a central location of all ourfamilies media such as pictures, videos and music) to the PS3... we have grown to use the system as a central hub to access our movies and games. As of Sunday that all came to a stop... (well except for the access to the movies :) )
As indicated by various reporting entities and first hand encounters... the Sony Network which is the backbone of the Playstation infrastructure has been down since 2pm on Sunday afternoon 2/28/2010.

It appears to be pretty serious given the ramifications of lost data in games and other applications on the effected systems...
