Hillel at Syracuse University struggled for many years in trying to update their FLASH/PHP website which was created from a web design company especially for them.  "Although the website looked great it had no functionality"... Indicated Brian Small, Coordinator of Programming and Special Initiatives at Hillel.  Small, who had the opportunity to work with a website completely done in a CMS (portal framework) knew exactly what was needed to remedy their situation. 

When tasked to find a new hosting and design company, Brian began to turn his attention to both local and remote companies.  Brian found ICTG and after their first meeting knew this was the solution they were looking for...

"This also found itself as a challenge as they wanted some of the same abilities they had before with their old website in that it had rotating images, banner ads; although uneditable, it could proove to be very useful" explained James VanDusen, owner of ICTG, LLC.

"Building some modules specifically for Hillel allows the staff to compile photos, apply to a stylesheet and upload using the web based tools to create the needed rotating images they used to have, this then allowed the same marketing idea to actually work for them", VanDusen noted.

Phase 1 is complete (Convert to the Portal system for editing) they will begin a re-design and Launch of their website this upcoming Fall 2008.
