Q: What versions of SharePoint does this module work with? Does it work with SharePoint 2010? Does it work with SharePoint Foundation 2010?
Yes all versions are supported currently

Q: Does this module allow writeback to the sharepoint list? ie. can I update a task list from within DNN?
Currently no, Sharepoint Nuke is a read-only module allowing DNN to show various items from a secure sharepoint system.

Q: Can you customize the look and feel of the module and what it displays?
We support CSS on all viewed items on the module, when using the Calendar webpart view, we also offer full customization of items that are shown using TOKENS.

Q: Does this module allow me to view and download files from a webpart on my sharepoint website that is secure?
Yes! The module is simple to use, you place it on a DNN page, go to its settings, authenticate to the sharepoint website as a authorized user and then choose the webpart from the list. The module queries the entire sharepoint website for all webparts it supports and displays in a easy to navigate list to choose from.

Q: Hi, Please let me know how your product compares with the DNN Enterprise Sharepoint connector. What is the same, what is different? Thanks, Chris
The Enterprise version of Sharepoint Connector - is focused on PUSH technology for sharing/displaying files from Sharepoint to DNN. Whereas the SharepointNuke system allows multi-faceted solutions that are LIVE proxies to the actual content in your Sharepoint site (internal or external). Sharepoint connector only is focusing on documents and files while SharepointNuke focuses on Calendars, Lists and files... Many Educational facilities are using this as well as enterprise level businesses who rely on Sharepoint inside the firewall but need to display/expose various items outside using DotNetNuke securely.

Q: Is this product similar to the Sharepoint Connector that is provided with DNN Enterprise? What are the similarities and what are the differences?
No... Here is why. Sharepoint Connector (enterprise) uses push technologies, SharepointNuke uses Live connections. Sharepoint connector (enterprise) focuses on documents/files, SharepointNuke can display lists, calendars and documents/folders.

Q: Does this product allow users the ability to edit files directly without saving locally?
Not currently, the strength of the module is to allow companies to utilize Sharepoint inside their network for storing, updating files, lists and events while the DotNetNuke side displays them securely. If you would be interested to also allow DotNetNuke to update files through the Sharepoint, we may be able to build such a setting.
